LX 650 H.O. ENGINE

We are proud to introduce our new 650 Hi-Output V-Twin Fan-Cooled engine as the new benchmark in power. This new ODG engine has been specially designed to perfectly match our 8x8 platform. Amphibious Body

Argo's signature one-piece amphibious lower body design allows it to smoothly and durably float over obstacles like snags, stumps, outcrops, swamps, and water.

Progressive Steering (APS)

APS is an innovative technology that improves the way the braking force is applied to the transmission steering differential. 


By adding a spring element between the handlebars and the brake system, we have developed a progressive and dual-rate steering system. 


This new system makes steering events effortless and provides a 4X wider range of steering motion, resulting in the smoothest turning experience possible in an Argo XTV. 


APS technology makes driving an Argo XTV as fun and comfortable as driving a UTV.

Steel Rims and Tires

Custom-engineered steel offset rims with low-pressure 24” tires feature a paddle design for amphibious propulsion and optimized traction on extreme off-road terrain.

Classic Transmission with APS

The Argo Classic transmission is a simple design that operates similarly to a mechanical skid steer, providing exceptional maneuverability. To steer the vehicle, the appropriate side of the transmission receives braking force directly, based on the operator's steering input. In both high and low ranges, the Classic transmission allows for zero-radius turns, enabling you to navigate through extreme terrain with ease.


With Argo Progressive Steering (APS) and the Classic transmission, all XTVs in the Frontier Series provide a smooth and comfortable driving experience.
